At $65 for 1.7 oz (50 mL), the ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream promises plump, baby-soft skin while also acting as a natural moisture barrier against environmental stressors. ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream details
As the seasons change and the air becomes drier, my skin becomes more dehydrated. While I still love my Tidal Brightening Cream, I felt I needed a more robust moisturizer to keep my skin hydrated during the fall and winter months. ICE is significantly thicker than the water-based Tidal Wave that I’ve been using, but despite its icing-like consistency in the jar, it quickly melts into the skin like a thick serum.
This product does not make me feel heavier. But surely makes my skin is glowing, baby-smooth, and deeply hydrated. Best for Normal to Dry Skin.
MOISTURIZING CREAM ingredients
The formula contains three key ingredients that work together to help form the skin’s natural moisture barrier, replenish lipid levels, and increase skin moisture: ceramides, vitamin F, and coconut fruit extract. In addition, the formula contains enriched plain water with algae extract, squalane, sunflower seed wax, hyaluronic acid, and fatty acids. Together, these ingredients form a potent moisturizer that can combat even the driest skin. The product has a very faint vanilla-like scent, which I enjoy (despite the fact that I am not a big fan of scents in general).
The formula contains no fragrance or allergens; the scent is all-natural and not due to any additives. The color is a gorgeous yellow shade that could easily be mistaken for a delectable dessert. Given its thicker consistency, I was surprised at how quickly this formula absorbed into my skin. You only need a small amount of product (about the size of a dime) to cover your entire face and neck, so the jar should last you a long time. It absorbs immediately, leaving behind stick-free, buttery-soft skin. Several creams and thicker moisturizers that I’ve tried just can’t compare to how ICE makes my skin feel.
At first, I wasn’t sure if I should wear this cream under makeup, but I was pleasantly delighted by how well it worked for me. In fact, since incorporating this moisturizer into my routine or rotation, I’ve noticed a reduction in oil production during the day. When used after exfoliating products, ICE really shines.
