Nudestix Nudies Bloom All Over Dewy Color (which retails for $32 for 0.25 ounces) is a multipurpose, sheer (but buildable), dewy balm that gives the eyes, cheeks, and lips a gorgeous nude glow. A moisturizing, dewy balm that is kind to the skin, melts into it, and produces the healthiest looking color and glow possible. The formulation does not contain any sulfates, including SLS and SLES, as well as parabens and phthalates. In addition, this product does not test on animals, does not contain gluten, and comes in packaging that can be recycled.
I enjoy a nice multi-purpose product. Because it can be used for so many different things and is so convenient to bring along on trips, it is an excellent purchase. Nudestix has been one of my go-to brands for quite some time, and I have quite a few of their magnetic eye colors in my collection that I love and use often. While I was perusing the makeup section of my neighborhood Sephora, this dewy “pinky-ness” caught my eye. As a result, I ended up purchasing the hue “Sweet Peach Peony,” which is a gorgeous soft peach tone.
Nudestix Nudies Bloom All Over Dewy Color Lives Up to the Hype
This stick can be used for a variety of purposes, and it lives up to its name. The product keeps the skin looking moist and gives it a more youthful and full look. My favorite feature of the product is how simple it is to use, and I also really like the glass-like sheen it has (which is truly fresh and glowy). When I first used the product, I had a little trouble blending it into my cheeks, which was a little frustrating (I applied it to an already powdered face, which was a mistake on my part).
Compared to Charlotte Tilbury’s Beach Lip & Stick, I expected this product to have a balmier and smoother texture. However, I was surprised to find that it was stiffer than I had expected (it felt different when I put it on my face than when I swatched it on my hand). Moreover, these sticks leave the skin with a sticky residue and do not harden in the conventional sense (they melt into the skin). If that’s not up your alley, you should surely try things out at a store close by, or you may just pass on this opportunity.
Great For ANY Skin Type
My skin is oily and combination, so I was concerned about how long these would last on my complexion. When I used the Nudies Bloom Stick on my cheeks, I used one or two swipes on each cheek, and it lasted me the entire day without any problems. In addition to that, it has moderately good staying power on my lips.
Due to the fact that it does not entirely dry down, this formulation is not one of my favorites to use on my eyes (which causes product movement throughout the day). On the other hand, these are ideal for applying to the lips and cheeks.
Because I feel like it messes up my foundation or BB cream underneath, the brush that comes with this product is not my first choice for blending it in. On the other hand, it’s wonderful to have it on hand while traveling (or in a pinch). The most effective way for me to apply blush to my cheeks is to take one or two swipes directly from the stick, place them on my cheeks, and then blend them in with a moist sponge (or my fingers, if the sponge isn’t handy).
The entire collection features colors that are gorgeous in their own right. The dewy and carefree look is ideal for the warmer seasons, particularly spring and summer. They will definitely become necessities for me, particularly while I am away from home. Because it has been beckoning to me, I will probably go out and get Tiger Lily Queen, which is a brilliant coral.
