Since more than seven years ago, Derma E has been a well-known brand in my home. This was long before the company became the well-known clean beauty giant that it is today. Derma E is one of the most well-known brands in the natural and clean beauty industries today. Derma E Hydrating series is a new hydrating line released which I will review in this blog post.
With a wide variety of natural and chemical-free beauty products, as well as the belief that optimal skin health can be achieved by selecting the most effective and wholesome ingredients and nutrients. The product that got me started was Derma E Prorzema Dry Skin Cream. It has been my Holy Grail product for keeping the eczema of my older son under control, and I continue to use it to this very day.
I have a lot of faith in this company, so when Derma E presented me with the incredible opportunity to test out their Hydrating Line, I knew that I would adore it even before I tried it. I was very kindly given a total of three products. In the next few paragraphs, we’ll talk more about the Hydrating Gentle Cleanser, the Ultra Hydrating Serum, and the Hydrating Day Cream.
Derma E Hydrating Series
Hyaluronic acid, which is thought to be the holy grail of hydration, is used in all of the products in the Hydrating Line. For those who don’t know about this one-of-a-kind ingredient, Hyaluronic Acid, also known as HA, is a substance that naturally occurs in our skin and has the ability to hold water, which helps keep our skin plump and hydrated. Along the same lines as collagen and elastin, as we get older, our bodies produce less of this substance, which is why it is absolutely necessary to take a supplement.
Maintaining the right level of hydration is one of the most important things for all skin types, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that Derma E chose this star ingredient as the center of this hydration routine. All of the products do not contain any animal products, are not tested on animals, do not contain any GMOs, do not contain gluten, do not contain lanolin, do not contain parabens, and do not contain sulfates.
Breakdown of the Derma E Hydrating Line
1. Derma E Hydrating Gentle Cleanser, which retails for $15.50 for 6.0 ounces and has a gel consistency, is a cleanser that is suitable for all varieties of skin. In addition to the antioxidant vitamins A and E, it contains hyaluronic acid, chamomile, lemongrass, and papaya, all of which work together to cleanse and condition the skin in a way that leaves it feeling soft, smooth, and dewy without causing any drying or aging effects.
After using this cleanser, my skin had a wonderful texture that I really enjoyed. It left my face feeling extremely clean and smooth to the touch, while also successfully constricting my pores without overly drying out my skin. If, on the other hand, you have a sensitivity to coconut-based products like I do, you should be aware that the top two ingredients in this formulation are both derived from coconut.
These ingredients are sodium methyl cocoyl taurate and cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine. Although I enjoyed the way it made my skin feel, I was unable to continue using this cleanser because it caused me to have breakouts (something that happens to me quite frequently when I use products that contain a significant amount of coconut). In general, I continue to believe that this is an excellent formulation, so long as you are not hypersensitive or allergic to the components that it contains.
2. Derma E Ultra Hydrating Serum is a highly concentrated lightweight serum that costs $29.50 for 2.0 ounces and plumps the skin full of moisture and nutrients, making the skin feel softer and smoother while also giving it a healthy-looking glow. Ultra Hydrating Serum plumps the skin with moisture and nutrients.
After the product had been absorbed by my skin, I noticed an immediate surge of hydration from the formula, which I found to be very enjoyable. The lightweight formula is ideal for use during the day (and looked great even when worn under makeup) as well as during the evening. This formula, in contrast to the hydrating cleanser, does not contain any ingredients derived from coconut, which enables me to take full advantage of this wonderful serum and all it has to offer.
Loaded With Nutrients
It is loaded with beneficial nutrients such as panthenol (B5), vitamin C, green tea, and hyaluronic acid. After just a few applications, the few dry patches that had appeared on my skin disappeared completely. The addition of the hydrating day cream improved both the performance of this serum and the serum’s overall effectiveness. The combination of these two products worked absolute wonders for my dry, irritated skin during the winter.
3. Derma E Hydrating Day Cream (which retails for $29,50 for 2.0 ounces) was, without a doubt, my top pick from this collection of products. It is a very moisturizing cream that deeply hydrates and plumps the skin to provide the most hydration possible. This formula is the undisputed champion for achieving maximum hydration because it is loaded with an incredible assortment of natural vitamins, such as vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin E, aloe vera, and jojoba seed oil.
The formula is not as lightweight as the majority of day creams that I normally reach for; however, it applied smoothly and evenly on my skin and quickly absorbed into the surface of my body. It does not have a heavy sensation, and a small amount goes a very long way with this formulation (it is easy to overdo it if you think you need to apply more of it). In a manner comparable to that of the cleanser, my skin felt extremely moisturized after using the toner, but it also felt tightened and prepared for the application of makeup.
Smooth and Even Application
Following the application of the serum and then this day’s cream, my foundation went on evenly and smoothly. The combination of the two is undeniably the best possible outcome. Beautiful, luminous skin that appears to be very well hydrated and has the appearance of youth.
The Derma E Hydrating Line has left me with a very positive overall impression. This is a fantastic range to consider purchasing if you are looking for natural and clean ingredients that actually deliver the maximum amount of hydration possible.
