4 Favorite Lip Masks That I’m Obsessed About

Favorite Lip Masks

I’ve previously talked about how much I adore and rely on lip balms. I have a similar love for my 4 favorite lip masks and treatments. Lip masks assist in overnight lip healing and restoration so that I can wake up with a soft pout ready for any lip product (especially important if wearing matte lipsticks). A lip mask is a crucial part of my evening ritual. Every night before I go to bed, I diligently apply a lip mask. I’ve just expanded my collection of masks. I’ll talk about the four that I now use and own.

My 4 Favorite Lip Masks In Detail

The first lip mask I bought was the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask ($20 for 0.7 oz; 20g). You can tell the jar has been well used and cherished by the amount still within. Since it was my first lip mask, I had no prior experience with it and thought it was the best invention since sliced bread when I first bought it. Antioxidants and Vitamin C have been added to the formula.

The Berry Complex features a pleasant and fragrant blend of raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, and blueberry. I find the smell to be quite mild and nice. Moreover, this mask has no peculiar flavor. It has a light, non-sticky feel. My lips feel hydrated after wearing this mask all night. Nevertheless, I don’t think this mask hydrates my lips deeply enough if they are truly parched (when comparing it to others that I own). Thus, I wouldn’t buy it again.

The second lip mask I bought, the Innisfree Lip Sleeping Mask (with canola oil and honey) ($16 for 0.59 oz; 17g), just blew me away. composed of 99.9% naturally occurring substances, such as canola oil, meadowfoam seed oil, castor oil, squalane, and beeswax. After I bought it, Innisfree may have changed the recipe of this mask, and it is no longer the same (a huge shame). I am unable to vouch for the “new” formula.

The original formula, though, is amazing and works incredibly well. The only drawback I discovered was that, in order to get the best effects, I had to use a lot. If I used too little of the product, it wouldn’t perform as I had hoped. Definitely, I’d buy this again (only the original formulation, as I have not had the opportunity to try the reformulated product).

Innisfree Lip Sleeping Mask

The most distinctive mask in my collection is Tatcha’s “The Kissu Lip Mask” ($28 for 0.32 oz or 9g), which has a gel or jelly composition. I pushed add to cart as quickly as possible the moment I noticed this little pink beauty on the Sephora website. Like the rest of the range, the packaging is incredibly stylish and beautiful. It is utter luxury. Japanese Camellia Oil, Three Rose Extract, and Japanese Peach Extract are all included in the composition.

I think this formula is great and that it truly delivers on its hydration promises. My lips looked incredibly plump and became even more attractive the more I wore this mask, even though I felt no traces of it on them when I woke up in the morning. In the end, I don’t think it performs any better than Innisfree, and given how much more expensive it is, I just don’t think I’ll buy it again when my current jar runs out.

My Lips Feel Better Than Ever!

Mamonde Lip Sleeping Mask ($14 for 0.7 oz), which I just bought, is my favorite lip mask right now. This mixture is very moisturizing and has plum blossom extract and shea and muru muru butters, which are high in antioxidants. It is the true hydrating workhorse for which I have always wished. Since I bought it, I’ve been using it often, and I can’t get enough of this formula’s outstanding results.

No matter how parched and worn out my lips are, one use of this tiny pot of deliciousness revives them. My lips feel better than ever since I began using it as a daytime balm (even in the dead of winter). This has been a favorite of everyone, therefore I would definitely repurchase it.
